Adnan called Hae 3 times, she doesn't answer the first 2 times because she is with her new boyfriend Don, but does answer the third time. She writes Adnan's new number in her diary. -

Adnan asked Hae for a ride from school. She initially accepts but after school allegedly changes her mind. Adnan then, allegedly, goes to the library where he talks to Asia, this occurs at roughly 2:20 PM -
Hae Min Lee Murdered
Hae is murdered after school. Jay says Adnan did it at 2:36 PM, while other source says Hae texted her past this time. Time is unsure but definitely occurred on this day. Jay's story assumes that Adnan did not go to the library and speak to Asia, which was fishy as Adans parents were involved with Asia's letters. -
Evening of January 13th
Jay picks up Adnan from track practice around 4:30 PM. Adnan is called by a police officer asking about Hae's whereabouts at 6:30 PM. Adnan says he knows nothing of where she is and mentions the ride he did not get. Jay claims he and Adnan buried Hae's body in Leakin Park around 7:00 or 8:00 PM. Don has a clear alibi for that night. -
Adnan's Inconsistency
Adnan says that what he originally said to Officer Adcock was untrue in that he brought his own car to school and didn't need a ride from Hae. This makes Asia's story all the more fishy takes the library alibi in to question. -
Search for Hae Min Lee's Body
Police begin searching parks and personal items for clues to the location of the body of Hae Min Lee, with no success. -
Hae's Body discovered
Hae Min Lee's body was discovered by a man allegedly urinating in the woods, he goes by Mr. S in the podcast. Koenig interviews him and he gives questionable answers, with his story about walking deep into the woods to pee being the most fishy. -
Mr. S Fails Polygraph Test
Mr. S is brought back in due to his questionable story, and he takes a polygraph test to make sure he is telling the truth about how he found the body. He fails, but comes back a week later and passes. This leaves the listener with questions to his credibility, and some view him as a suspect. -
Adnan's Arrest
Adnan is arrested just hours after Jay gives his statement to the police, telling them that he and Adnan buried Hae's body in the park -
Asia Writes Letters to Adnan
Asia writes a series of letters to Adnan regarding seeing him in the library the day of the murder per the request of Adnan's parents. Adnans lawyer ignores the letters, questioning her dedication to protecting Adnan. Her integrity is also questioned when she does not bring up key evidence in a case where she was defending a boy that allegedly killed his younger brother. -
Adnan's Conviction
Adnan is convicted for first degree murder and is sentenced to life in prison. Jay gets off with minimal punishment and no prison time. -
Christina Gutierrez Disbarred
Christina Gutierrez, Adnan's lawer, was disbarred, meaning she could no longer work as a lawyer.
