In India Mary's parents were throwing a party. Mary was in the nursery all alone. All of the people in the house died from the disease called Cholera. Later that winter Mary moved with her uncle.

Once Mary got there she got to see her maid Martha. Martha said that Mary could go outside and explore the moor. When she was outside she found a gardener named Ben Weatherstaff and he said that there was a locked garden some where.

Finding The Garden

One day Mary was looking for the garden. A robin helped her find the key for the locked garden and when the wind blowed the ivy she was able to see the door. So she opened the door and looked in she saw a garden that she thought was quite died.

When Mary came in she ask Marta who was crying and Marta said it was one of the maids because her tooth heart. late that night Mary went to find who was crying.

Colin

She found a boy by the name of Colin and he was laying in bed crying. They were cousins and colin asked if Mary could come back in the morning.

Dickon was going to push Colin to the garden so he could see what the garden looked like. they would o to the garden every day. By then colin could walk and run like a normal kid.

Mr.Craven

One day when Mr.craven came home from one of his trips he went in the garden and saw Colin,Mary and Dickon in the garden. By then colin could run faster than Mary could so they both raced to mr.Craven.
