    The Purpose of the proclamtion of 1763 was to stop the colonists from moving west of the Appalachian Mountains.

  • Sugar Act

    The purpose of the sugar was to charge a tax on imported sugar, wine, molasses, and coffee. This allowed British officers to try offenders and stop the colonies from exporting lumber and iron.
