Hyster outcasted
Hyster is released from prison and is forced to dawn a scarlet A signifying, her crime and place in society. She is then forced to move to the town outskirts where she takes residence in a run down shack of a home, to raise her daughter Penny -
Dr Chillington's discovery
Roger becomes suspcious of Dimmesdale and begins to believe that thier is more to his sickness than he may believe. While Arthur is asleep, roger begins to examine his body where he envounters a red A carved into his chest. -
Arthur's confession
While giving a a sermon arthur looks out into the audience and sees his mistress and now seven year old daughter watching isolated from the people. He breaks down and confesses the events that transpired and admits he was her lover. Soon after he dies on the spot most likely out of guilt. Not too much longer Roger dies as well for unecplained reasons. -
Hyster's fate
Hyster later becomes well sought out by women of her town for advice. She is a living symbol and testament to her sins like her daughter Penny. She passes a few years later and is buried with her lover, both with A's eched into thier graves.
