    The birth of St. Francis De Sales

    He was born in France. He grew up as a middle class person. He was a priest and was a bishop of Genova and is honored as a saint in the Catholic Church.Roman Catholic Church celebrates St.Francis de sales feast on 24 January, the day of his burial in Annecy in 1624

    St.Jane De Chantel

    She was born in January 23,1572 in Dijon, France. She met St.francis de sales in Dijon. While he was preaching his Lenton sermons. She was canonized in 1767.
  • St.Margaret Mary Alacoque

    She was canonized by pope Benedict XV in may 13, 1920 in 1969, the feast day was moved to the prior day,16 October.in 1673, jesus showed he his sacred heart for the first time in a vision. Surprisingly, she received opposition from the members of her own sacred heart because of her visions.
  • Mother de sales chappies

    Reestablished the visitation community in Troyes, France after the French Revolution. It took her 30 years to convince fr.Brisson to fulfill and vision to represents the spirituality of St.Francis de sales. She was canonized on November 25, 2001.
  • Fr. Louis Brisson

    Was born in Plancey, France as well. On august 27,1876 he and 5 other priests professed vows as oblates of St.Francis De Sales. He was beatified September 22,2012.
  • St.Leonie Aviat

    On October 11,1871she professed first vows in the new congregation called the Oblate sisters of St.Francis De Sales. She received her final blessing from father Brisson disguised as a lay women. She died on January 10,1914, and was canonized in the year 2001.
