Sceptre
In a land far away was a village called Sceptre. The village had growing crops and plenty of food to pass around. The villagers themselves were starting to get tired of only being plentiful in food. So instead they thought of ways that they could express themselves, and the artsy village of Sceptre was born -
Medrod arises
In the town of Sceptre it had been two peaceful years of art becoming part of the town. Medrod was a commoner who was worried that the people would lose sight of their origins. Medrod each day slowly started growing a hatred for their art, and soon snapped. He himself broke and ruined all art he could possibly find. The towns people were terrified for they didn't expect such thing to happen. Medrod drove fear into them and began to rule the town as his own -
Declaration of rules
Medrod's rule became tyranny, and it ruined the towns people's lives. Medrod soon declared a ban against all art created in the town, otherwise the creator of the art would be considered an outlaw and forced to leave the town of Sceptre. -
Passing of Medrod's rule
In 1895, Medrod had become weak in his health and died of an illness. After the 70 years of Medrod's tyranny rule, the towns people declared a new form of government which became known as a monarchy. -
Creation of the new Rule
It was about a year later after Medrod's death that the new government had been formed. The towns people had chosen a man who had a passion for the hated art. Although a majority of people that had originally been there when art had become part of the town had passed on, there were only little few who were still telling the stories of shared art. -
Geronimo's New Kingdom
After the final creation of the new government, they had a coronation for the new king, February 28, 1896. Geronimo had been a man liked by all the towns people, and he also had a passion for art. In his new rule he overturned Medrod's rule against art and instead made it a top priority for the towns people. -
Battle of the Western Region
Towards the end of Geronimo's rule a battle had broken out between the neighboring town of Cymbeline over the Western Region, claimed by both towns. -
New rule of 1921
As the battle continued between the towns, they were still able to hold elections over the new king who became Santiago who was previously on the government board under the previous king. -
Battles End
in 1924, the battle between the towns had ended with Sceptre for the win, The town had expanded and took part of Cymbeline. Once the battle was over, it was once again a peaceful town with new territories to explore. Although the town had suffered a bit of damage, they were able to regain their strength quickly over the next 5 years. -
New Rule, New Adaptions
In the election of the new King, there were new adaptions of they way life continued. New policies and terms had been set and readjusted for the people, by the people. Darien had become the new King at the end of Election. Darien was about moving forward and taking new ideas, along with evolving the town for the better -
Artist in the spotlight
After King Darien's new rule everything had changed for the better, and the town instead turned into a city evolving with new technology. During this time was a boy growing up, named Robert Norman Ross. He was considered a prodigy in the art world although he was at a young age when he was first noticed. -
Bob Ross
As Robert grew up he was very popular for his art style, he started to grow an interest in his city's government. Soon enough, as he got older he was able to join the city government. Being part of the government, he was able to express his ideas of new trade deals, and still continue his passion for art. -
King Bob
At last, it became time for an election for the king. There was a huge debate over the new king, and in the end it was Robert Ross. Although he was young for his age to be the king, he pushed through the criticism. -
City of Art
King Bob became quickly favored, although he faced harsh criticism in the beginning. His ideas, thoughts, and perspective of life gave the people hope the other kings didn't. Art was from block to block, and things were peaceful. There were trees planted in favor of those who have passed, and were called Happy Little Trees. And as King Bob said himself, " There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents." -
Passing of a legend
Unfortunately King Bob wasn't able to complete his last year of reign for he passed away on July 4, 1995 due to an illness. Sadness and sorrow washed over the kingdom, but they continued on with their daily lives. The government that because King Bob had completely changed the kingdom, they would keep a majority of things similar for the next reign.
