First Introduction!!!
Robin & Sean were first introduced by a mutual friend at the Magnet Theater Holiday party on December 19th, 2006.
Sean had seen Robin on a few occasions while she was tending bar/working the box office as a theater intern & named her "the cute blond intern." Robin had heard Sean's name mentioned several by mutual improv friends & had even picked up one of his "Spotlight with Sean Taylor" postcards one night during one of her shifts, but had yet to meet him herself. His smile won her over! -
Early flirtation
At the afterparty for a theatrical revival of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" at the Magnet Theater - Sean made a move to chat and flirt with Robin. He remarked on how much he liked the shiny black shirt she was wearing. Robin was admittedly smitten. -
The BIG Impression - Musical Improv Class Showcase
The Magnet's first Musical Improv Class Showcase was where Robin really turned Sean's head! He was there to see a mutual friend in the showcase, but unbeknownst to him, Robin was in the class as well. When Sean heard Robin sing, he was decidedly smitten and decided then and there that he had to get to know this "cute intern" better. Sean approached Robin after the show to give her his card and exchange emails - He still talks about the "Junkie Girlfriend" number that she sang to this day. -
First silly email exchange
Robin was going to email Sean to have him send that picture he took of her Musical Improv Class at the showcase, but never sent it! Thankfully, Sean ponied up and emailed her! He spelled her name wrong (Robyn) which is a big pet peeve pf Robin's, but she was willing to excuse the mispelling for this guy! -
Sean sees Robin in her Made-Up Musical premiere!
Sean was clearly becoming Robin's #1 Fan and was psyched to hear that she would be sitting in with the Made-Up Musical for the first time. Robin was more excitied about Sean coming to the show than nervous about her first time playing with these seasoned performers.
She remembers even more vividly going to the Triple Crown for post-show drinks with a bunch of friends (including Sean) and trying to send him as many signals as possible to ask her out! -

Sean askes Robin out "on a DATE!"
All of the flirting and signal-sending Robin had been doing over the past several weeks finally paid off when Sean asked her on a date - and in front of a group of friends, no less! Robin had invited Sean to meet up with her at the Triple Crown after a show he was doing at the Magnet. He showed up as promised, & just moments later, found the perfect segue into asking Robin out: "I'd like to take you to dinner," he said. "Like on a date!" Robin first composed herself & then gladly accepted!!! -
First Kiss!
If you wanna know if she loves ou so, it's in her kiss!
At their friend Caroline's urging, Sean asked Robin to walk him out of The Triple Crown Pub as he was leaving to go home. He did this to et her away from another guy who was chatting her up - but perhaps wanted to be sure that she was really & truly into him and him alone! When he leaned in to give her a hug goodnight, he leaned in a little further and kissed her. Robin kissed him back & the rest is history! -
Pre-date
Robin arrived to her friend Carolyn's Birthday party at Kanvas just after midnight. Not 5 minutes later, Sean walked through the door! Needless to say Robin was more than pleasantly surprised to see him. He brought her a drink from the bar & they flirted throughout the night. When it came time for last call, Sean asked Robin to join him for one more drink at the Molly Wee, but when they found it wasn't going to be just the two of them, they went to the Tick Tock Diner until the sun came up! -
First Date!
Sean decided that he wanted to start doing things that only tourists, not New Yorkers seem to do - such as, visit the top of The Empire State Building! It was quite a romantic notion to go to the top of the ESB on a first date, but technically this wasn't a FIRST fisrt date & Sean had a really good feeling about Robin. They made an embarrassing podcast while they waited the 2 hours to get upstairs & then they kissed! They continued their perfect date at Patsy's Pizzeria & Serendipity III. -
Robin's Rooftop Memorial Day Party
It wasn't long before Robin & Sean would see each other again because just after their first date, Robin threw a raging party on the rooftop of her apartmenr building! -
2nd Date!
The first date had gone so well, that Sean couldn't wait to take Robin out again! They shared sushi at Sushi Samba and then played ping pong and pool at Fat Cat Billiards. -

Pizza Month Road Trip
This was Robin's first Pizza Month ever - and to kick it off she accompanied Sean up to Boston with a couple of key stops in New Haven, CT for some of the best pizza EVER!!! -
Meet the Parents!
After their first road trip together to Boston for the start of Pizza Month 2007, Sean meets Robin's parents for drinks in Bryant Park. This was REALLY big as Robin had never brought anyone to meet the parents before! Not surprisingly, Sean passed the initial meeting with flying colors! -
A Home of Our Own!
Robin had been spending so much time at Sean's apartment just over the bridge in Astoria, that she basically lived there. She finally came to the realization that she was essentially spending a lot of money for a really large closet, so, the two decided that it was time to find a place of their own & settled down in Hell's Kitchen! -
Robin & Sean get ENGAGED!!!
Immediately following a Funnyball softball game, Sean led his unsuspecting girlfriend, Robin to the top of the Belvedere Castle overlooking Central Park's Great Lawn and popped the question! Even better yet, she said "YES!" Watch Sean's proposal here!!!
