    Both the French and England wanted the land in the Ohio River Valley. They both had help from Native American Tribes and fought a big war. It is known as the war that first made America because it was a big reason why the british were taxing the colonists.

    The boston massacre was a terrible time. British soldiers were sent to the colonies and the colonists didn't like that. The colonists dared the british to fire at them which was against their orders. The colonist threw there clubs and snowballs at soldiers to provoke them. One of the soldiers heard the word "fire" and unfortunately did along with several other soldiers killing 5 somewhat innocent colonists.

    The British planned to confiscate the colonists weapons. They reached the colonists and both sides waited with orders not to fire. We don't know which side fired but it started a big battle and at least 8 colonists were killed after the smoke settled.

    The final attempt by the colonist to avoid going to war with the British. It was a document from the colonist that said that they would be loyal to the crown if they could have a say in the laws made.

    A document stating that the colonies are no longer apart of Britain. It also states the countries laws and what to do if the government becomes to powerful or disobeys the country's laws. It was put into place on July 4 1776

    It was a small battle, but it gave the americans a lot of spirt. Washington's army defeated the Hessian soldiers by crossing the delaware river and took them by surprize with a mighty victory.
