The French and Indian War
The war began in 1754 and in 1763, it ended with a treaty in Paris. Great Britain was provided with enormous territorial gains in North America. When George Washington tries to expel the French, he was out numbered. The war resulted from ongoing tension. -
The Proclamation of 1763
It was issued by King George III in 1763. It followed Great Britain's acquisition of French territory in North America after the French and Indian war ended.
