  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was a British Proclamation that forbade the colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains. This helped lead to the American Revolution because the Colonists felt they had the right to live where ever they wanted, while the British thought that it may lead to another war with the Native Americans if the Colonists tried to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains.
