  • Battles of Lexington and Cancord

    The british went to Lexington to get their colonial leaders then to Cancord to collect there weapons. The british had about 700 troops. The mailitia from Lexington were thowing cannons of fire to send away the british then soon after Lexington won there independence.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The british wanted to control the city and control their sea ports. When the Americans hears about it they secretly went to the hill and made forts for themselves. When the British noticed the started to attack but then soon after the Americans were running out of bullets
  • Battles of New York

    General George Washington moved his troops south to New York and waited for the British.
  • Battles of Trenton

    General Washington crossed the deleware river with his troops and they entered Trenton in two different ways. One of the Hessian people that was there wanted to counterattack Washingtong. The forces went into surrender because the hessian general was not there the command them and many of there people was getting hurt so they retreated to the west.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The British general tried to come up with a plan to take over the American colonies so he slit his group into two along the hudson river. When the Americans caught up to them they started harrasing them and that started slowing then down, which was causing then to run out of food. The gerneral ordered some british troops to head there way down to Vermont and when they did the Americans were there and captured 500 British troops.

    Marquis De Lafayette was a French General that took part in the American revolution.
  • Battles of Phiadelphia

    Philadelphia was considered the headquarters of the revolutionary war. When the Americans got there first they got hold of all the supplies before the British arrived, they even took the liberty bell so the British troops were unable to create bullets from it.
  • Battle of Valley Forge

    Valley Forge was a camp site for the Americans. General Washington decided to stay there because it was close to Philadephia and that's where the british was campling at. He wanted to keep a close eye out for them. About 2,500 men died there because it was too cold and many were dying because of dieseases.
  • Battles of York Town

    The British was outnumbered by the Americans and the French. They knew that they were going to loose the war so they decided about thinking about peace and that's when the treaty of paris kicked in.
  • Treaty of Paris

    It was a negotiation between the United States and Great Britan that ended the American Revolutionary War.
