    A Proclomation set forth by King George III that forbade settlers (colonists) from settling past a line drawn along the Appalachian Mountains.

    An Act that imposed a direct tax on paper items (marriage lisences , magazines, newspapers etc.) that colonists had to pay to Great Britian in British currency so it couldn't be colonial paper money.

    The Townshend Taxes were a series of texes passed beginning in 1767 by the Parliament of Great Britain relating to the British colonies in North America. The acts are named after Charles Townshend, the Chancellor of the Exchequer. These taxes were upon specific items such as paint lead, paper and shipping items. This lead to the Boston Massacre.

    Violent outbreak between a Bostionian mob and eight British Redcoats. This outbreak started with some of the Mob members taunting and throwing stuff at the British soldiers and them the soldiers retaliated and killed a mob member. Later the soldiers never got put to justice.
