This act abolished all governments formed in the former Confederate States. This was major reconstruction because this was the start of the confederate and union to come together as one and not individual.

Fourteenth Amendment

This Amaendment made all "born or naturalized in the United States" citizens. This is a major reconstruction because now any religion and person can be accepted to be a citizen.

Fifteenth Amendment

Feb 3, 1870

This amanedment states that no one can be keptfrom voting because if "race, colors, or previous servitude."This relates to reconstruction because this makes men and women equal.

Enforcement Act of 1870

Dec 9, 1970

Protected the voting rights of frican AMericans and gave the federal government power to enforce the 15th amendment. This relates to reconstruction because it enforces tbe rights.
