    The reason for choosing this is because it lead to a love I had for the series, it was also the first chapter book I read when I was in the fourth grade

  • The Cater in the Rye

    The reason I chose this was because it was a challenging book for me to understand when I was younger but I really enjoyed it and think it is great to read for older students in class

  • To Kill a Mockingbird

    This book was very informative for me as it led to a lot of different books for me to read.

  • The Great Gatsby

    This is a book where I understood books are better than movies, this started a love for me to read the books and than watch the movie as well

  • The Hunger Games

    This was my favorite series you will see in the timeline, I was a little late to the readings and the movies but I loved them

  • Catching fire

    I read this book right after the other one and watched the movies, I think kids would love to books that also have movies as they can also watch the movie in class and compare the two

  • The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

    I had to include this book because it was very emotional and led me to read different types of educational pieces.

  • The Elephant in the Garden

    This book shows the truth about humans and their barbarism, it was a sad and truthful read.

  • Firefly Lane

    I read this book because of the Netflix series and it was a great read and watch would highly recommend.
