    The attack on Pearl Harbor was very devestating to the U.S Government. The Japanese suprisingly attacked Pearl Harbor, and the U.S wasnt even prepared to fight. The reason for the attack was because of the cut of trade, and the after month of negotiation neither side would bulge.     Dropping the atomic bombs was a decision that the U.S really felt that should happen. They dropped these bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan. The reason these bombs were dropped was because Japan refused to surrender. The first bomb exploded 2000 ft above Hiroshima, destroying 5 sqare miles.
