Sons of Liberty
In the Summer of 1765 a group of shoe keepers and artisians who called themselves "The Loyal Nine" began preparations to disrupt the Stamp Act. As the group grew they became "Sons of Liberty." Andrew Oliver was found hanging in a tree, because he was for the Act.

Townshed Revenue Act
Grants certain duties in the British and plantantions in America. Mercentalism takes the money and spends it unequally. This act makes the Revenue Taxes on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea were applied with the design of raising £40,000 a year for the administration of the colonies. http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/related/townshend.htm
