    Lexington      Picture: It shows the colonists standing in the field with the british charging
    General Gage and his British troops were marching for Concord to take guns and ammunision from the colonists that were being stored there. To get to Concord the british had to pass through Lexington on there way. Colonists in Lexington got word of the british coming and they took there guns and stood out in a field in plain sight of the british. The britished charged just to scare them away but someone fired and the britished opened fire killing them. That sparked the revolutionary war.

  • Fort Ticonderoga

An American leader, Ethan Allen, sneaked into british territory in the middle of the night and captured Fort Ticonderoga very easily. He captured artillery and about 67 cannons and dragged them to Boston were they then used those cannons to seal of Bostons Harbor trapping the british.

British leader General Gage attacked american leader Colenol William Prescott on Bunker Hill were the americans set up cannons to prevent british ships from leaving Bostons harbor. The americans were heavily entrenched but they were defeated by the britishes supirior forces but at a big cost with 1000 british killed or wounded.

American General Benedict Arnold hoped to defeat British forces in Quebec, Canada to gain Canadian support agenst the british but the attempt ended in failure when American forces were defeated.
