    Radar operators report more than fifty planes 132 miles away, and headed for Hawaii.

    Japanese war planes strike on Pearl Harbor begins with bombing planes and torpedo planes.

    8:10 a.m. - U.S.S Arizona Explodes
    An armor piercing bomb goes strat through the Arizona, and hits more than 1 million pounds of gun powder explodes creating a huge fire ball.

    The second wave of Japanese bombers stikes.

    8:39 a.m. - Japanese Midget Submarine
    A U.S. ship signals that it has sited a submarine. The Monghan was headed for the sub as fast as possible. It hit the sub with gun fire. Then ramed it, and dropped death charges that pushed the Manghan out of the water, but there was no damage.

    A Japanese bomb blows off the bow of the U.S.S Shaw, and pieces of the ship fly about half a mile away. The Shaw eventually gets a new bow, and is back in action in July 1942.

    Japanese fighters urge for a third stike, and want to bomb the gasoline tanks. But they called off the strike, and said the attack was successful. Then Japanese planes returned to their aircraft carriers.

    Many people go to naval hospitals. Some are badly burned, and others have been pierced with bullets and shrapnel. For many badly wounded men, all the nurses can do is give them morphine.

    1:00 p.m. - Japanese Aircraft Carriers
    Japanese aircraft carriers head back to Japan thinking it was successful. In the 44 months that will follow, the U.S. Navy will sink every one of the Japanese aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Japan signs for surrender on September 2, 1945.
