Allen got into poetry because of her strong indian culture. in fact this is what she primarily wrote about. -
she left her home in new mexico to undergo her dream:)
her dream was to go to college and write poetry as well as novels. -
she went to the University Of New Mexico
this is where she learned to write. she enjoyed this school very much. -
she tranfered to Oregan University.
she loved it here this is the school she graduated from, she discribed it as the school of her dreams. -

she went to indian litterature school.
she thought that she was down on her writting and lost her touch so went back to school. -
this was her last pice called "Pochanots"
this was unfortuanatly her last piece. -
she unfortunatly died of old age:(
her work will be remebered by many and an insparation to many youjng indian writters.
