  • France Fights England

    France Fought England for a large portion of the colonies

  • French and Indian War Ends

    This is the time when the French Indian War finally stopped and many were relived to have the war over because of casualteys.

  • Bostan Massacre Acoured

    British soldiers killed colonists who were throwing ice rocks and sticks at them. When the colonists started to antagonize the british soldiers they thought they were threatened and fire there guns on the colonists.

  • Spies Learned British were going to attack

    Spies for the Sons of Liberty went out and evesdropped on the british and figured out that the british officers were planning an attack. So the people went away and started to warn colonists.

  • Colonies Revolted Against British Rule

    The cononists started to revolt against british rule and this resulted in the start of the American Revolution

  • Representatives of the colonies wrote and sighned the declaration of independance.

    Thomas Jefferson wrote and signed the declaration of independance and made it anounced to the public that the new government was made for the U.S.

  • British Surrendered At Yorktown

    After a five-day bombardment, the combined American and French forces attacked and overwhelmed Cornwallis's fortified position on the night of October 14. The British commander was left with no choice but to surrender.

  • Paris Peace Treaty Sighned

    Sam Adams, Benjamin Franklen, and John Jay signed the Paris Peace Treaty and officialy put an end to the Revolutionary War.

  • Poem "Paul Revere's Ride" was Written

    Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote a poem about Paul Revere and how he rode to warn the colonists. This gave the poet a spark of inspiration and so he came up with the poem "Paul Revere's Ride."
