    From the clues they find, they believe Margo committed suicide.

    The group of friends skip graduation and drive to New York to get more clues.

  • Finding Margo

    They find Margo in an old storage building.

  • Explanation

    Margo explains to them that she was planning on leaving after graduation but the whole boyfriend cheating on her situation really pushed her over the edge.

    Q and Margo bury her black notebook and lay out and talk about paper towns and paper people

  • The end

    Knowing that nothing would happen between Margo and Q because they were both headed in different directions, Q kisses Margo in the parking lot before she goes.
