    My great great grandmother Sarah came over at the beging of WW1. She left, with her husband, because the fear of Hitler's war.

    My great grandmother Maria Pomposa was born February 1900 in Mazatlan, Mexico. When she was 16 years old she lost both her mother and father. Since she did not have any immediate family memebers to go to, she was forced to become an orphan. She knew that she didn't want to stay any longer in Mexico and wanted to move to the United States for a better life. She bought a train ticket and made her way to LA by herself. She found a job as a Nanny and was able to save enough money to live on her own.

    Maximino Carreon joined the US Navy in 1952 after the Philippine occupation by the Japanese. He came to America in 1953 and was sent to the Vietnam War 7 years after arriving in America.

    My first immigrant ancestor that first came to the USA was my father, Jose Andrade and his family. They came from Portugal, Europe. Then they had decide to come to the USA for a better life. They been traveling for weeks. They had arrive at Ellis Island to prepare with the immigration. And when they are finish they wait for the result and they did it.

    Gabriel my father decided to come to the United States from Mexico after he had lost his job and couldnt support for his wife and 3 doughters.He arrived to America on june 20th of 1981 looking for a job so he could sent money to his family he had left back in michoacan mexico. so that they could have everything they needed.and hoping one day to bring them all to America.
