The organizers of this march was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. When they sent a bunch of teenagers to march they were attacked by police because they felt some type of way for doing this. 6 teenagers endeed up arrested.

Medgar Evers was shot to death by a white supremacist named Byron De La Beckwith. Medgars death was not brought to justice until Backwith was 73 years old. This case had went through two white jurys who couldn't come up with an answer so he had been set free, Evers was traveling to tell poor AA's to to get into the Civil Rights movement.

This bombing became a key moment in the Civil Rights Movement. There is a group of lawmakers who are trying to give the Congressional Gold Medal to the four black schoolgirls who died in the explosion.

These three men were lynched by members of the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. They were working in the "Freedom Summer" campaign. They were trying to register AA's to vote. This case became a big deal and was named the Mississippi Burning.

Martin was assassinated but was not announced dead until he got to the hospital. A fugitive was arrested for this crime for 99 years. African Americans had lost a big piece to the Civil Rights movement when Martin passed.

A 14 year old boy named Emmet Till was murdered for flirting with a white woman. He flirted with a white woman in the grocery store and four days later two white men came and kidnapped him. They beat him to death.
