    Where "Jump Man" (A.K.A. Mario), was to jump over obstacles thrown at him down a construction site area to climb up to a giant gorilla who stole the mistress in distress named, Pauline.

    On Sept 13, 1985... Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo was released to the public, debuting the icon plumber brothers, Mario and Luigi to save the princess from Bowser after completing 8 worlds/32 levels total.
    (8*4 = 32, since each world has 4 levels.)
    This was a very popular platformer that it sold over 40 million copies. Being the most sold video game of all time.

    In this game, Nintendo made a chip called the "FX" Chip, which would simulate a map out of pixels to give the illusion of depth and 3-Dimensional objects.
    The game was released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, selling roughly about 11.91 Million copies.
    Then two years later was given a sequel which wasn't released to the public under 12 years later, being an extra game that is unlocked for the mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System, named "Star Fox 2", after playing enough.

    In 1996, the Nintendo 64 was released to the public with a copy of Super Mario 64. Mario making his first step into the 3D world, with the story being bowser trapping everyone in the castle walls, sealed away with power stars.
    The idea for the 3rd dimension of Mario, came from when Shigeru Miyamoto wanted to create a world for the iconic video game character, as it was his "dream" to bring fantasy to a near complete 3D environment. Release on June 23 in Japan. Released on Sept 29, 1996 for US.

    Dinosaur planet was a game that was supposed to be released on the Nintendo 64. This game was created by Rare and was in mid-development before having to switch to the GameCube.
    The game was to have two main characters, Sabre and Krystal.
    At E3 in 2000, the first appearance of Dinosaur planet for the Nintendo 64 was showcased, being a very unfinished build.
    Later, the developers had to scrap ideas and modify the game for the GameCube, replacing Saber with Fox McCloud from Star Fox for Nintendo.

    The creation for Mario Galaxy began on 2005. Which was then being worked on for 2 years before it was released in-stores.
    Mario Galaxy started off as a physics engine with a bunch of smaller Marios running on a sphere. The game was to release on Nov 1st, 2007. The game was a great success, being on the best games inside the Mario franchise, selling over 12.80 million copies.

    After the Nintendo DS was released, the video game called New Super Mario Bros was a 3D/2D Side Scroller video games you could play on the go, which was released in 2009.
    There are many scrapped ideas for New Super Mario Bros that was later reused in the sequels to it.
    The game was a giant success, selling 30 million copies, making it the most popular game in the world sold for the Nintendo DS and making it one of the best selling video games of all time.

It is the sixth original 3D platform game in the Super Mario series, the sequel to the 2011 Nintendo 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land. It's sold 5.86 million units, which made it the second-best selling game created for the Nintendo Wii U

    The console itself is a tablet that can either be docked for use as a home console or used as a portable device, making it a hybrid console. The top 3 most played video games are Legend of Zelda, Smash Brothers Ultimate and Super Mario Odyssey.
