    The articles were to create union.The total united front of the states dint come until 1781, even though they were wrote in 1777.

    Members meet in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to strengthen the federal government.The new constitution replaced the articles of confederation.
  • Fries Rebellion

    Tempers were flaming when the government placed taxes on housing in eastern Pennsylvania to raise money for the funds of the war of 1812.The tax only placed taxes on the size of widows because they thought it wouldn’t effect smaller poorer houses and low income families as much.People believed it was unfair and were unhappy.
