Fries Rebellion
Tempers were flaming when the government placed taxes on housing in eastern Pennsylvania to raise money for the funds of the war of 1812.The tax only placed taxes on the size of widows because they thought it wouldn’t effect smaller poorer houses and low income families as much.People believed it was unfair and were unhappy. -

Whiskey Rebellion
Farmers were upset because the produce they grew was being used to make whiskey and other liquors which had taxes placed on them so no one was buying them ,so the farmers weren’t making any money. -

The Treaty of Ghent was about the end of the war.This treaty officially ended the war of 1812 , but the news didn’t reach the south very quickly. -
Battle of New Orleans
After the war before news reached New Orleans they were still fighting.The British had the city trapped and all sides from the Mississippi.
