They people who traded illegally. They were challenging the governor because the governer wanted to control the fur trade. So the king made a rule in 1696 that every person who goes to trade with the First Nation people have to go and return or they will get a punshiment.

Wolfe (british) had 4000 soldiers to attack Beauport. Montcalm (French) a put a lot of soldiers there. Wolfe made a plan to pretend that he was going to attack Beauport again so that Montcalm wil sent more troops there. Wolfe decided to attack from the west Side of Quebec..

Wolfe sent Frence speaking troops to get past the guard post.
The troops killed the guards and wolfe now had 5000 troops up the path to the plains of Abraham. Wolfe and Matcalm were killed in the battle. -
The seven years' war ended in 1763 Britian and the French signed a peace treaty in Paris.
