At the age of ten years old, Jane experienced her parents splitting up. Jane had to move to a different state and make all new friends while missing her mother. Jane had a hard time interacting with her peers. She also had a hard time having a long distance relationship with her mother. -
Jane was married to her husband on a sunny day in 2019. A year later she had her first born child and experience a whole new meaning of life. Family was so important to her. She was so happy but also unsure of this new chapter. This is Ericksons Intamacy vs. Isolation theory because When you get married everything changes because you are with your partner "Until death do us part" This can cause "cold feet" of feeling of isolation and uncertainty. -
In Jane's last decade of living, she was residing in a nursing home because she had dementia. When Jane remembered where and who she was, her family would remind her of how amazing and kind she is and how much they loved her. Jane would feel confused however, felt happy and content with the reflection of her life and how she spent it with her loved ones. Even if she didn't always remember them.
