    The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console produced by Nintendo. The NES helped revitalize the US video game industry following the video game crash of 1983.
    Masayuki Uemura served as the lead architect for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super NES game consoles. He retired from Nintendo in 2004 and is currently director for the Center for Game Studies at Ritsumeikan University.
    It brought joy and entertainment.
  • 3DO Interactive Multiplayer

    3DO Interactive Multiplayer
    The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, is a home video game console developed by The 3DO Company. Conceived by entrepreneur and Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins. First console to support HD graphics. Its output is 640x480i, Has 4 channel Dolby Surround sound and it renders games at 30 frames. This console was the first to also utilize CD as an alternative to cartridge's based media. This console is also the reason we have rating system in video games, ESRB(E,E10+,T,M,A)

    The Nintendo 64 is a home video game console developed and marketed by Nintendo. It is the first console to have fully free-roaming 3D environments. Also added a analog joystick to help control the characters. Shigeru Miyamoto was the man behind the creation of the Nintendo 64.

    Sega Dreamcast
    The Dreamcast is a home video game console released by Sega. This console was the first to enter the progressive scan era in HD with 480p. First console to have a reliable online game community with a built in modem on the console(upgradable to broadband) This is also the first console to showcase what the new 128bit era of graphics would look like. I am in aww every time I look at the game Shenmue in this console. Tatsuo Yamamoto was the head creator for the console.

    Nokia N-Gage
    The N-Gage is a smartphone combining features of a mobile phone and a handheld game system developed by Nokia. Even though the console itself was a commercial failure. What did phone/gaming console did was ahead of its time. With Playstation quality graphics, MP3 playback, Radio tuning AM/FM, web browsing, SMS, MMS, calling, Bluetooth wireless multiplayer and multiplayer on phones over cellular networks. This phone if anything help inspire future technologies.
