This demonstrates how the Pope used to own the Papal States and it was independent until Italy took over and incorporated the Papal States to Italy.

    This picture contains two groups, the left one being the Ethiopians and the right being the Italians. This picture effectively demonstrates the effects of the war as the Italians all look the same while the Ethiopians show more character (dressed differently and actually moving closer to fight). This was the war that became the catalyst to pan-African resistance and undermined European colonialism in Africa which is shown through the clear identification of each Ethiopian.

    Mussolini's position as an editor for Avanti was less about passion of the job but rather a way to build his rhetorical technique and propaganda spreading abilities. This is shown by the photo as the person in the photo accidentally provokes the police and takes a job as an officer for a purpose other than "Protect and Serve"- to lay low until the cops forget him.

    The people in the photo are Vander and Silco, two friends that had a fall out due to conflicting beliefs, similar to Mussolini and the Socialist Party. Mussolini wanted Italy to join the war, just as Silco wanted the Undercity Zaun to fight for independence while the Socialist Party wanted Italy to stay out of WWI, just as Vander wanted Undercity Zaun to obtain independence by maintaining peace. Mussolini then started his own fascist party, just as Silco started his own group of Chem-Barons.

    This photo demonstrates the feelings of Italy during the secret agreement. They joined the Triple Entente and left the Triple Alliance with the belief that they would receive a lot of territory, not knowing they would receive only a small portion of the land that they were promised.

The workers' smiles in the picture implicates how their extreme dissatisfaction to their economical status led to them ignoring the consequences of gaining support for fascist parties.

This also raised the price of grain, as imported grain was cheaper, as seen by the farmer asking for more money than normal. The surplus of farmed goods in the back shows the success in increasing grain production.

    The Locarno treaties defined Germany's border with France, just like in the photo where the picture is being defined. There is also no conflict in the photo, representing the part of the pact that said that they would resolve conflicts through peace. This represents the treaty as it was considered irrelevant due to how it didn't really prevent WW2 and meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.
