  • Shah Walliullah

    Shah Walliullah was born four year before Aurangzeb's death. His father Shah Abdur Rahim was a theologian and was interested in the mental sciences. He had assisted in the compliation of the Fatawa e Alamgiri, the code of Islamic law prepared at the court of Aurangzeb.

    It was fought between Ahmad Shah Abdali and the marathas.
  • Haji Shariatullah

    He was a pious Muslim and had lived an exemplary life and sincerely worked for the spiritual Revival of the Muslims of Bengal till his death in 1840

    Syed Ahmed shaheed was a disciple of Shah Abdul Aziz, Shah Walliullah's son who organized an arched struggle against the persecution of Muslims under Sikh rule in Punjab
  • Battle of Balakot

    In 1831 a battle was fought at Balakot, hazara district, between the Sikhs and the remaining followers of Syed Ahmed, who were outnumbered and unprepared. Syed Ahmed was maytred along with Shah Ismail and others.
