Michelle attended Mary Lou Teachers College to obtain her Bachelors degree from Arizona State University. On May 5, 2012, she graduated with her degree in Secondary education.

Michelle began her student teaching at Gililland Middle School in Tempe, Arizona.

Michelle received her first teaching position out of college at Cartwright Elementary School District.

After graduation Michelle began teaching in the state of Arizona.

Her second year teaching Michelle's desire to be closer to home drove her to join the MPS family. She took a job at Kino Junior High School.

Michelle began decorating her classroom as soon as she was able to get the keys to the room.

After being anxious all summer, Michelle officially began her position at Kno Junior High School.

Michelle's second year at Kino she decided to change her room to a A.S.U. Sun Devil Theme.
