The first Morse Code machine was made by Samuel F.B. Morse in 1830. It was used for electrical telegraphy. This invention was later improved by a man named Alfred Lewis Vail. -
International Morse Code came up in 1851. The international Morse code was easier and more precise. The international version more complicated. -
Not many changes have been made since then. Since 1938 the Morse has always stayed the same. Morse code was used during World War 2, most famously used during Pearl Harbor. It was used in the Korean and Vietnamese Wars as well. Shipping industries used it as well. In modern times Morse code is rarely used because there is no use for it. From 1938 to the present there have been no changes to Morse code. -
In the 1990s only ships and any sort of boat used Morse code. That too barely any ships used it. -
In the early 2000s most countries dropped the use of Morse code. To today almost no country uses it.
