    with googles attempt with google glass it is safe to assume the at some point in the near future there will be augmented reality contact lenses that with be placed directly on the eye and will attach to the the retina through a neural link. one of the problems with a technology is that although it could be well secured it could become hack and could cause some serious damage to someones retinas. although the benefits would be that augmented reality gaming would be much easier.
