Miranda Lambert married Blake Shelton.
On May 14, 2011, in Boerne, TX, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got married, surrounded by many friends and family ("Miranda Lambert"). The wedding was a huge southern party. Miranda opened her Platinum Tour in Irvine, CA. She sang many of her older fan-favorite songs, as well as songs from her recent album, Platinum. Miranda was very appreciative onstage and made a point to make sure they were enjoying themselves throughout the night (Dodd). Onstage, she works hard to make the concert fun for her fans, but she also enjoys herself while up there. Following four years of success at the Country Music Association Awards, on November 5, 2014, Miranda went into the night holding nine nominations. She went home with her fifth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year award. Miranda was very appreciative of her fans and thanked them for all of the support (Betts). Miranda is constantly thanking her fans, showing that she is extremely appreciative of all the support she is given, and that she remains grounded throughout her fame.
