SVSU Graduation
Michelle graduates from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor's degree in education. Her major is history and her minor is political science. During her senior year of college she was on the SVSU Homecoming Court. -
Clawson substitute teaching
Michelle starts substitute teaching for the Clawson Public Schools district in Clawson, MI. She subs on average four days a week. She also works at the daycare for the district. -
Full time teaching job
Michelle is offered a teaching job at Lincoln County High School. She moves to West Virginia a week later. Michelle teachs U.S. History and 20th / 21st Century for the school. -
KEE 100 Teacher of the Month
Michelle's students nominate her for the KEE 100 Teacher of the Month. They make a video about her teaching at LCHS. Michelle wins the award and is honored by Dave and Jenn from the KEE 100 radio station. -
Master's Program Started
Michelle starts her Master's program at Marshall University. She will pursue a degree in Secondary Education.
