    Men's apparel changed slightly in the 1930's but not much. Suits became more broader in the shoulders, and the top hats were still a big thing. Double-breasted suits became popular also.

    The style for men went from more formal to more casual.Trousers were more high-waisted and could really be seen the dramatic zoot suit.

    Men started to wear cardigan sweaters more than ever during this time. They also wore tropical and polo shirts for casual wear.

    Biggest shift in men's clothing was during this time. Men wore fringe, leather, suede, and polyester. Business suits became slimmer in both the pants and jackets.

    The style was still like the style they wore in the 60's. Sports cardigans and slim trousers were popular for a conservative man. Patchwork jeans, platform shoes and fringe suede jackets was a popular look. Color was beginning to come out and was very important during this time period.

    Men's suits went back to the old wide and broad shape. Pinstripes and navy were common as well. Some casual choices included jeans and sneakers. Baseball hats were starting to come around replacing the dress hats.
