Brummell was a very popular fashion icon during the early and mid 1800s. He was the son of a nobleman who wore long taupe pants accompanied with a blue dress coat which fashioned the modern version of men's monochromatic suits. -
Daywear
Linen was a popular day time look in the 1850s and is shown by the long linen pants and a tight sleeve coat jacket. This look was known as "formal daywear"
