    When the printing press was invented this allowed for a mass production of documents to be produced. This allowed ideas to spread to other people, but at this stage in history the vast majority of people could not read.

    When people started to produce jurnals, this allowed ideas to be shared about science and technology to leap forward, but still only a couple of people could read. This meant that only people such as scientiest and priests could read these jurnals.

    BBC Radio, when invented allowed the goverment to broadcast . It was the first type of mass media that had been invented. It was able to be broadcast staright into peoples homes. This one of the tencequies Hitler used to propaganda!
