Which devistates Lindsey, so recently after her sister's death.

Susie's father then meet's detective Len at the door only to recieve no news on her siser's muder case.

Mr. Harvey then has a flashback of his childhood, and how he had stole his 1st item with the help of his mom...

    AS mr. Salmon calls the police station to get Mr. Harvey arrested and his home searched, he covers it up like a dog burrying his bone. When Mrs. Salmon goes to pick up Buckley, she then goes to the mall, and lets him play on the play structure as she goes shopping. But she finds that Detective Len Fenerman is there and ends up ahving an affair with him in a closet.

    Everyone goes over, except for Susie's family.
    Lindsey's mother then says to her that she is going to leave them and travel to Paris, without any reason. As Lindsey's mother leaves, Grandma Lynn comes to stay with the family. Once Mr. Harvey got out of the police station he packed his bags and headed to New Hampshire. And a family with 5 little girls moved into his old house.

    Mrs. Salmon instead of going to Paris went to Maine, and only lasted one winter, and decieded to go to California, where she got a job at the Krusoe winery. Mr. Salmon organized a yearly memorial of his dauter's death. After a few years Ray grew handsome and Ruth became goth. She kept a jounal. In there she wrote random things that might have related to Susie's death and signifigant events. By New Years Ray was off to Penn. and Ruth went to New York. (pages: 45) [total pages: 1,256]

    In December 1981, Len Fenerman got a call from a Delaware, where a murder was connected to Susie's death, they had her teeth. The Deleware detective the told Len about the murder, and that she was killed in her own home. As Susie watched her family and friends grow up, she realized how much she missed them.     At the age of 21, Susie had lived through Lindsey. And after her and Samuel got their diplomas they rode his motorcycle back only to get cought in the rain. They pull over and find shelter in an old victorian house. As they explore the house they decide they want it as their own ans Samule propeses to Lindsey and she says YES! And then they run home, because the motorcycle is shot. They return home to tell her family what has occured.

    Over the years Susie grew tired of watching the Earth and everyone.
    Buckley decieds to plant a garden, and grow vegatables. And weants to use Susie's clothes to cover them, but his fater says "no" and Buck breaks down, because his family can't get over the fact that Susie died.
    Then Mr. Salmon has a heart attack. Everyone comes, and Lindsey calls her mom with the news. (pages: 29) [total pages: 1,290]

    Mrs. Salmon gets the news from Lindsey that Mr. Salmon has had a heart attack, and jumps on a plane back home. As she meet Lindsey, Samuel, and Buck at the airport Buck insults her, and is so angry he won't talk to her.

    As Ruth asked Susie what she wanted Ruth blacked out and Susie fell to Earth. She had entered Ruth's body, and was with Ray. Her long time 1st kiss. As Ray carried her back to the car they kissed and he realized who she was. Susie said that they should go to Samuel's older brother's car shop and rest. There Susie took a shower and invited Ray in with her. And there they had sex while Susie was on Earth for the short time in Ruth's body. Then they went and slept.

    Mr. Harvey found himself in Conneticut, and fell asleep next to his newest victem's grave. Len Fenerman, comes to the hospital to give Susie's Pennsylvania charm back to the Salmon family. Mrs. Salmon bought a little girls whole stock of daffodils, and placed them all around Mr. Salmon's room. She realized just how lonely she was and fell asleep in ther hospital bed with Mr. Salmon.

    When Susie's Dad woke up she had made her presence found in his room. Her parents made up and kissed and cried due to the pain, and love, and all the events of their lives. Mr. Harvey has visions and flashbacks of his 1st murders and all the rest. Ray and Ruth end up at a sinkhole in the old neighborhood, and while Ruth is being risky she asks Susie if she wants anything. Buck's birthday comes along and he gets a drum set from Samuel.

    While Ray was still asleep Susie got up and called her family. Where she talked to Buck, but her time on Earth was up and Buck heard nothing, and Susie went back up. And as soon as Ray touched Ruth's body he knew she was gone.
    Ray and Ruth awoke the next morning and Ruth pulled out her journal and read some to Ray. When Mr. Salmon got home from the hospital, the family put the rest of the daffodils in the cornfield on where Susie had been killed. And her father said "I love you Susie."

    Samuel then made the toast about everyone being happy and back in the house. Grandma Lynn died a few years later, Lindsey and Samuel got married and sat in the new house drinking champagine.
