The front lines
On the first of September, Valdek was placed in the front. He described how he was in the trenches, and that on the other side of the rivers they were next to, were the Germans. He was captured, and was sent to a POW camp, where he was forced o stay at before being sent to a different POW camp. -

Vladek is freed from the prisons, after he guards were bribed and he was able to go with a family, and after that he was soon on his way home
