Martin entered the Morhouse collage in Atlanta when he was 15. Martin enjoyed his days and times in the morehouse collage and he will never forget them. Also his dad and gradfather went to the Morehouse collage. He was one of the top students there.

After high school, Martin graduated from Crozer and went to Boston University

His daughter was called Yolanda and when she was born, the Montgomery bus boycott began. Martin and his wife Coretta were so happy when Yolanda was born. Yolanda grew up to be a lovely child. But sadly she died at the age 51.

In 1961, Martin's son was born. His name was Dexter. Dexter is the second son of civil rights leaders. Dexter is the second oldest boy in his family. His brother Martin Luther king 111 is the oldest boy in the family.

Bernice is the youngest kid in the family. She is a girl and she was born in 1963.

Martin was 35 when he won the Noble Peace Prize. Everyone was so proud of him.
