    In 1955 after a public uproar arose as a black woman named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a public bus for a white person, as required by law. Dr. Martin Luther king decided to act, and led the bus boycotts on Montgomery where confiscated blacks the bus. He also helped organize a bus across the city Montgomery and led just go black the whites denied him entrance. This was noticed on a national level and was one catalyst led to the establishment of the civil rights movement in the Unit

    He studied sociology and theology degree,he recevied a doctorate in systematic theology from Boston Univesity in 1955 and was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha brotherhood.
    His dissertation topic was the question of turning the after cheek teaching of Christ and not-violent struggle led by Mahatma Gandi in India.

    In 1957 King was one of the founders of the SCLC – Southern Christian Leadership Conference" an organization for civil rights and was headed until his death. For it has been criticized more radical elements of the civil rights activists who opposed the nonviolent approach of the organization.

    THE SPEECH
    The SpeechSpeech "I have a dream" he carried on August 28, 1963 from the steps of the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC is one of the most famous speeches ever. The speech was elected to "The year of time magazine" that year. A year later he was awarded the Nobel peace prize for a nonviolent struggle for Human Rights.

    On April 4th 1968 in his motel room in Memphis Tennessee, where he arrived to support the sanitation workers' strike that took place in the city at the time, Dr. Martin Luther King was shot and murdered.
    James Earl Ray confessed to the murder and was convicted but later retracted his confession. Awarded in 1999 King's family in a civil suit against Lloyd Governs had received 100,000 Dollars to organize the assassination. Jury ruled that government agencies were involved in the murder scheme.
