Marie curie was born in Warsaw

She was the first student in her school to graduated highschool at the age of 15. Left with a gold medal. This was for being the top student in her school. While she excelled in all subjects she had a deep love for science.

She moved to Paris to continue her education at the Sorbonne College. She graduated as top student again and got a degree in Physics.

When she was in Sorbonne she met Pierre Curie. They both had a love for science and so they bonded. In the following year she married him at the age of 26.

Together they worked on solving how radio activity works. On this day they made the important discovery of the radioactive element radium.

On this day Marie Curie's hard work payed off and she was rewarded with a Nobel Prize because of her discoveries with her husband; Pierre Curie. She won a Nobel prize in physics.

Marie Curie 8 years later was rewarded with another Nobel prize! This time she won the reward in the field of Chemistry.

Marie Curie died because in Savoy, France. She died because of a blood disease that is often caused by to much exposure of radiation.
