Marie Curie is Born
Marie was bornin Warsaw, Poland on november 7th, 1867. She was the youngest out of her five other siblings. Her parents Wladyslaw and Bronislawa Sklodowski were both teachers at different universities.

Marie attends to Sorbonne university after falling in love with physics and chemistry. She had two masters degrees by the time she got married and went on to earn a certificate that would permit her to teach science to young women. She went on after school to study more and teach other woman about all she had discovered already.

She Gets Married
Just a year after graduating form sorbonne university, Marie goes on to marrie Piere Curie. At the time he was a Professor of Physics at the School of Physics and Chemistry in the City of Paris. Together they would go on to discover new elements together and create a happy family.

A little over two years after getting married, Marie gives birth to little girl named Irène Joliot-Curie. Irène was their first of two daughters and also went on to study science. Irènes sister Eve Denise Curie was born on December 6th, 1904. Eve ended up being a journalist and pianist as she grew up.

Marie was awarded a noble prize for her work with Radioactivity. She was awarded this at basically the end of her carrer. This is when she had officially found out everything she could about radiation.

Millions of people were involved in this revolution. Czar Nicholas II dragged 11 million people into world war I with him. The amount of lives that were lost made the people of russia angry and so they retaliated. -

The great depression began shortly after the stock market crashed. This sent people into a panick and wiped out millions of investors. This was the longest-lasting economic downturn we had ever seen. -
Marie Curies death
This was the day Marie Curie was announced dead. She lived a long life full of accomplishments. Her work helped the people around her and that is really what makes someone a hero.
