    Present and agree on goal plan, projects and general timeline for the committee for the year. Assign tasks pertaining to cross-university comparisons, honoraria, wages and AMS Salary Grid to committee members.

    Set a time for staff evals, discuss pertinent HR policies, present report from honoraria and wage changed over the past years & discuss findings as they pertain to current salary rates, work done, etc. Assign work for salary grid review and general surveys.

    Present Analytics from Cross-University Comparison and discuss findings, to be kept for remuneration review discussions. Assign work for self-evaluation forms.

    Surveys Details

    Meet at least once (maybe twice if needed) and discuss both surveys, exact dates and details of questions and purpose on surveys.Have all members submit schedules for interviews and regular meeting times.

    Work on HR review if needed, finish any pending work, work on special projects that may arise, HAVE A LIFE!

    Email Salaried Evals

    Email out self-evaluation surveys to all salaried AMS employees and have 2 weeks to fill them out. Be sure to include times to meet.

    Personal Interviews

    Start conducting personal interviews with all salaried employees (2 committee members) and touch on all interesting, surprising things from evaluations and take notes.

    Data Analysis and Conclusion

    Tuba to collect & sort all data and email out to all members by November 30th. One more committee meeting to discuss all results and start making conclusions. Another meeting to make final decisions and conclusions from all the data from employees, interviews, general job interest survey and other universities about salaries and job descriptions. Send job descriptions changes for service managers to service directors, if it was not possible to discuss them with them beforehand.

    Meet F&A/MPC to meet after

    Meet with Finance & Audit Committee to discuss final conclusions and impact on Society budget and finances. MPC to book meeting after scheduled F&A meeting to discuss any issues.

    Present and recommend Report for Salaried Employees to Board with all proposed changes and job descriptions for Council, Extended Council and Managers*

    Wage/Honouraria Analysis+Concl.

    In light of other approvals and conclusions, start re-examining wage and honoraria reports and analyze for changes (if any) and why they may be needed.

    Meet F&A

    If any changes are being made in honouraria and wages, meet Finance and Audit Committee to discuss impact on overall budget and society finances
  • Wage/Honouraria Reports!

    Present and recommend to Board all conclusions from Wage/Honoraria discussions.

    Second Salaried staff Survey and interviews for next year's data.

    By this time, we'll have a chance to talk individually or as a group about our successes, and the things we would've done differently/not done, etc!
