Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan. She grew up and stood up for woman rights, since they weren't allowed to go to school.

When Malala grew up, she really wanted to go to school, like many other girls, but she couldn't. She became known best for standing up to the Taliban, demanding that girls would be allowed to go to school.

After Malala had spoken up to the Taliban many times, and got plenty of death threats by them, she got attacked. The Taliban broke into a bus that Malala was on, and asked for Malala, or else they would kill everyone on that bus.

Malala was shot in the head, at close range on that bus, and was immediately sent to the hospital. She miraculously survived, inspired many people, and earned a Noble Peace Prize.

After all that Malala has been through, she was appreciated by many. She goes on talk shows, and has gotten more famous for what shes done.

At the time, Malala Yousafzai was a huge star. She was known as "The girl whos stronger than fear." She was one of the biggest inspirational speakers and changed many lives in Pakistan.
