Malala was born in Mingora, Pakistan on July 12. -
THE TALIBAN
When the Taliban took control of her town, everything changed and many things were banned. Girls could no longer go to school. -
THE ATTACK
After speaking out publicly on behalf of girls and their right to learn, a man boarded her school bus and shot her on the left side of her head. She was taken to the hospital in Birmingham, England. -
MALALA FUND AND THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
When she finally recovered, she was determined to continue her fight. With her father, she created Malala Fund and she received the Nobel Peace Prize. -
UNIVERSITY AND WORK
She began studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford and continued her fight. -
GRADUATION
After pandemic, she graduated from Oxford University. At that moment, more than 130 million girls were attending her school.
