Ghenghis Khan
Born in 1162. Founder of Great Khan of Mongol Empire. He married at age 16 but had many wives. He began building his army at age 20. Died in 1227. Passed down control to his son Ogedi. -

Zheng He
Born in 1371. Zheng he began his first expedition in 1405. He traveled the seas for the China Emperour, searching for trading partners for China. He died in 1433. After his death, China stoped funding the expeditions and became isolated from other ccountries even though they still allowed some merchants under strict regulations. -
Jan 15, 1453
Afonso de Albuquerque
Born in 1453. Afonso was a Protuges explorer who sailed to Malcca in 1511 to conqour Malca. Died at sea on December 15th, 1515. -
Japanese invasion of Korea
Began in 1592. The Japanese had 2 failed attempts at invading Korea. A lot of destruction was caused during the battle. -
The Happy Return
This was when a Dutch fleet that was at sea for 1 year came back with ships filled with gold and spices for their country. -
