The Battle of Brandywine and Germantown
The British won the battle of Brandywine AND Germantown.Then they took over the capital city of Philidalphia. For safety, the Second Continental Congress left the city to meet in Lancaster and later in York, making both cities the national capital for a short time. -
The Night of the sleepover.
The British soldiers slept and dined in peoples homes.They literally killed people to do that.General Washingtons troops were 20 miles away at Valley Forge they were camping outside. -

The British and Native Americans teamed-up.Doing this, they killed over 200 settlers.They did this because we were pushing them out of the country. -

The British army surrendered at Yorktown, V.A.The British army surrenderd to American and French troops at Yorktown .The last British troops in the U.S.A. left in November. -
