Madame Walker said her famous quote at the National Nergo Business Leauge Convenion. Her quote was: " I am a woman who came from the cotten fields of the south, from there i was promoted to washtub, from there i was promoted to cook kitchen. And from there i promoted myself into a business of manufacturing hair goods and preparations, i have built my own factory on my own ground."
